Kualiti Alam owns and operates the only integrated hazardous waste management centre in Malaysia, Kualiti Alam Waste Management Centre. The Centre hold the license to handle 76 categories of 77 scheduled wastes listed under Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005. All facilities are designed and managed to meet stringent international Codeds. These facilities have the capacity to store, treat and dispose more than 100,000 tons of all classes of hazardous wastes annually. The end-to-end facilities.
Currently, Kualiti Alam Sdn. Bhd. has buildings that manage hazardous waste infrastructure. Information age of the buildings is ± 17 years. The decreased of building quality on all existing buildings indicates that need for an assessment to determine the actual condition.
The purpose of this project activities is to identify and assess the actual condition of the selected hazardous waste’s structure. This is to enable us to get on the best comprehensive handling the port’s structure. The goals of this project activities are:
- Getting the information on the condition of the hazardous waste’s structural elements by performing its visual detail and special testing.
- Obtaining information related to the conditions of the structural elements as an initial data of the hazardous waste Building.
