PT Krama Yudha Ratu Motor is a factory part of the Krama Yudha Mitsubishi Group, as a Mitsubishi vehicle assembly plant in Indonesia, located in East Jakarta. In the factory there is a painting booth under which there is a ventury tank. This ventury tank functions as a water reservoir to hold the remaining paint from above. The ventury tank at PT KRM is shaped like a tub which is located under the ground measuring 6.4 x 27 meters. On the walls of the tub were found seepage of water from the ground. The cause of these water seepage is not certain whether the cause is from cracks or cavities from the concrete. With these considerations, to ensure the condition of the structural elements in good condition or not, it is necessary to conduct a test on the structure of the building. Therefore, the structure of PT Krama Yudha Ratu Motor’s Top Coat 1 Ventury Tank requires a full structural inspection (Forensic Assessment including NDT Testing and Structure Analysis). This is very necessary in order to know the actual condition of each structural element of the Top Coat 1 Ventury Tank. The tests carried out are special examinations in the form of visual inspection, Non Destructive Test (NDT), Destructive Test (DT) and Structure Analysis based on the results of field data. PT Graha Survey Indonesia is assigned to carry out the inspection with the aim of evaluating the area by conducting assessments and testing to be able to provide recommendations for appropriate treatment.
The purpose of this inspection is to identify the actual condition of the building structure. Meanwhile, the purpose of this activity is to get a picture of the actual condition of the structural capacity in the field.
The objectives of this activity are:
- Obtain information on the condition of building elements by visual inspection and special inspection,
- Obtain information on the condition of structural elements as building initial data
