Sulawesi Central Commodity warehouse has long been established and operated. This building operates around ± 3 years. Therefore to ensure the condition of the structural elements in good condition or not, it is necessary to consider the structure of the building. Based on the ACT Building Control Guidelines 1989 (Singapore Standard), periodic structure checks are carried out based on frequency; a). every 10 years for buildings where at least 90% of the floor area is used solely for housing purposes; and b) every 5 years for all warehouse buildings. The Sulawesi Central Commodity warehouse has so far not yet inspected buildings. Therefore the Sulawesi Central Commodity Warehouse needs to be carried out a full structural inspection (Forensic Assessment Includes NDT and DT Testing and Structural Analysis). It is very necessary to know the actual condition of each element of the building structure. Tests carried out are special examinations in the form of visual inspection, Non Destructive Test (NDT) and Destructive Test (DT) and Structural Analysis based on the results of field data. PT Graha Survey is assigned to carry out the inspection in order to evaluate the area by conducting an assessment and testing to be able to provide recommendations for proper handling.
The purpose of this inspection is to identify the actual condition of the building structure. While the purpose of this activity is to get a picture of the actual condition of the structural capacity in the field.
The objectives of this activity are:
- Obtain information on the condition of building elements by conducting a visual inspection and special inspection,
- Obtain information on the condition of structural elements as initial building data
- Get an evaluation of the results of building structure testing
- Providing recommendations based on engineering evaluation results.
