Kalibaru Container Terminal or also called NPCT (New Priok Container Terminal) is a development in order to gradually build capacity to anticipate the growth of container and cargo flows at Tanjung Priok Port. The project began in 2012, development phase I was inaugurated on September 13, 2016, and development of the next phase is still ongoing.
The pier has been operating well for the past 2 years and there are no complaints, but to maintain operational safety and comfort, the dock manager wants to conduct periodic checks. The examination carried out is a detailed visual inspection for the purpose of maintenance, checking whether there is damage to the infrastructure of the Kalibaru Terminal and supporting facilities as well as the KaliBaru Terminal access road and recapitulating any damage that occurs to determine the repair needs to be carried out.
The purpose of this inspection is to identify the actual condition of the infrastructure structure. While the purpose of this activity is to get a picture of the actual condition of the structure in the field.
The objectives of this activity are:
- Obtain information on the condition of the pier structure elements, measurement reports, access roads and supporting buildings by conducting a detailed visual inspection
- Get an evaluation of the results of the structure inspection
- Provide recommendations related to the damages that occur.
- Get regular maintenance schedules for each structure
