Tereos FKS Indonesia is a pioneer in the integrated corn processing industry in Indonesia. To answer the high market demand for corn starch and sweeteners in Southeast Asia, a joint venture between Tereos Group and FKS Group was created in 2014. During this process, a total additional investment capital of 100 million USD was carried out by the two companies in 2017.
Tereos FKS Indonesia processes cornflakes into a series of quality products for raw materials in various sectors, such as food & beverage, animal feed, textiles, adhesives, and other sectors. Through the products produced and the jobs created, Tereos FKS Indonesia also contributed in developing local industries. Now, Tereos FKS Indonesia has created 500 jobs with 99% of them filled by local human resources.
Located on Jl. Raya Anyer Cigading, Tegalratu, Serang, Cilegon City, Banten Tereos FKS Indonesia has integrated facilities for producing a variety of corn starch derivative products. The Main Storage building, the Glucose building, and the Maltodextrin building have long been up and running. To ensure the condition of the structural elements in good condition or not, it is necessary to test the structure of the building. Therefore, the Main Storage building, the Glucose building, and the Maltodextrin Tereos FKS Indonesia building need to be carried out in full structural inspection (Forensic Assessment includes NDT, DT testing, and Structural Analysis). It is very necessary to know the actual condition of each element of the building structure. Tests carried out are special examinations in the form of visual inspection, Non Destructive Test (NDT), Destructive Test (DT), and Structural Analysis based on the results of field data. PT Graha Survey is assigned to carry out the inspection in order to evaluate the area by conducting an assessment and testing to be able to provide recommendations for proper handling.
The purpose of this inspection is to identify the actual condition of the building structure. While the purpose of this activity is to get a picture of the actual condition of the structural capacity in the field.
The objectives of this activity are:
- Obtain information on the condition of building elements by conducting a visual inspection and special inspection,
- Obtain information on the condition of structural elements as initial building data
- Get an evaluation of the results of building structure testing
- Providing recommendations based on engineering evaluation results.
