Structure Testing of JPM Tanah Abang In Jalan Jatibaru Kampung Bali, Central Jakarta

Tanah Abang Multipurpose Crossing (JPM) bridge located on Jl. Jatibaru Tanah Abang, and built along 386.4 meters with a width of 12.6 meters and is located right above the Jatibaru road. The executors of the JPM Development are PT. Amarta Karya (Persero) and construction supervision carried out by PT. Bina Karya (Persero) which is an assignment from the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta to overcome congestion around the Tanah Abang Market. The framework of the construction of the Tanah Abang Multipurpose Crossing Bridge (JPM) 80% is done at the factory using a knock down system, which means the steel frame and structure are made separately from the work site. After completion, the bridge will be sent to Tanah Abang to be installed. The construction of Tanah Abang Multipurpose Crossing Bridge (JPM), divided into 4 zones, starting from Zone A, Zone B, Zone C and Zone D, and each with a length of 100 meters. Skybridge or Multi-Purpose Crossing Bridge (JPM) Tanah Abang is the policy of the DKI Jakarta Regional Government to overcome solutions for street vendors not to sell on the sidewalks of Jalan Jati Baru, Tanah Abang, Jakarta. Skybridge connecting Tanah Abang Station and Blok G has been inaugurated on Monday, October 15, 2018. It is recommended that routine checks are needed, the owner feels the need to conduct an Assessment on the bridge structure, so that the quality and capacity of the Tanah Abang Multipurpose Crossing Bridge (JPM) is now recognized. Because of this the owner also appointed PT. Graha Survey Indonesia to conduct an Assessment on the JPM Bridge, which includes Visual Test and Dynamic Loading Test.

The purpose of this structural testing work is to obtain detailed information about the condition of the structural elements of the inspection that occurred at JPM Tanah Abang and to get the results of the condition evaluation from the results of the special inspection conducted.

The objectives of this activity are:

  • Obtain information on the condition of structural elements from special checks.
  • Conduct an evaluation of the conditions of the results of special examinations conducted.
  • Suggestions are based on the results of structural element testing.
