Assessment & Testing of the structure of the Pertamina River Pakning – Dumai

Jetty Pertamina refinery unit (RU) I Sungai Pakning, Dumai was established in 1969 and started operating since 1971. With consideration due to the condition of the jetty that has been damaged, therefore to ensure the condition of structural elements in good condition or not, so it is necessary to do testing of the jetty. Therefore the Jetty Pertamina refinery unit (RU) IISungai Pakning, Dumai needs to be carried out structural inspection (Forensic Assessment including NDT and DT Testing). It is very necessary to know the actual condition of each element of the Jetty structure. Tests carried out are special examinations in the form of visual examination, Non-Destructive Test (NDT) and Destructive Test (DT). PT Graha Survey is assigned to carry out the inspection in order to evaluate the area by conducting an assessment and testing to be able to provide recommendations for proper handling.

The purpose of this examination is to identify the actual condition of the jetty. While the purpose of this activity is to get a picture of the actual condition of the structure in the field. 

The aim of this activity are :  

• Obtain information on the condition of building elements by conducting a visual inspection and special inspection. 
• Obtain information on the condition of structural elements as initial jetty data.
