Loading Test Jembatan East Connection Taxiway Bandara Soekarno-Hatta

The East Connection Taxiway bridge was built as one of the building projects for the construction of the Soekarno-Hatta Airport’s new terminal. The East Connection Taxiway bridge has finished its construction phase and is ready for operation. However, to ensure the condition of the structural elements in accordance with the plan, testing is needed that aims to determine the bridge’s response to the load acting on the structure and determine the ability of the bridge to its service capacity. Tests carried out are specific tests of static loads and dynamic load testing.

The purpose of this inspection is to determine the bridge’s reaction to the load according to plan. While the purpose of this activity is to get a bridge response to the test load.

The aim of this activity are:

• Obtain information on the condition of structural elements from visual inspection.
• Conduct evaluation of conditions from the results of visual inspection and loading test.
• Suggestions are based on the results of visual inspection and loading tests.
